OR PAZ JEWELRY and BAUHAUS DESIGN
Bauhaus was a German art school that combined crafts and the fine arts, and was famous for the approach to design that it publicized and taught. Based in Germany from 1919 - 1933, it's educational philosophy was not just "building', it was about "CREATING" a work of art. My favorite theme of the Bauhaus design is the joining of form AND function.
The Bauhaus influence has proliferated Tel Aviv with about 4000 Bauhaus buildings built since 1933 - more than anywhere else in the world. Also called, "The White City" , Tel Aviv was named to the list of world heritage sites by UNESCO in 2004 due to its abundance of Bauhaus architecture!
So, what do Bauhaus and Or Paz share?
A LOVE of form, a LOVE of function! The idea that clean lines, beautiful details all work in conjunction to present beauty and elegance. It also derives its inspiration from heritage and history.
